Self-storage solution at Särkänniemi amusement park
Särkänniemi is a beloved amusement park in Tampere, Finland. This classic amusement park has given thrills and joy for Finns already since 1975.
Everyone who has visited an amusement park knows that it is a lot more pleasant to walk around and enjoy the rides when you don’t need to carry your belongings with you at all times. Särkänniemi had an older locker system for their visitors but they wanted to update to an easy, modern and secure system that would be operated with payment cards. Our solution was what they were looking for.
The solution we supplied is safe, efficient and easy to use. Our solution also gave Särkänniemi extensive management and reporting tools, which makes managing the lockers a breeze. This also makes it effortless to integrate the self-storage services into the wider business model.

Luggage storage at Turku Bus Terminal
Turku Bus Terminal is a crucial part of the infrastructure of the city of Turku. Located in Turku city centre, travellers from all over Finland use the station daily to come and go.
Sometimes it is very handy for travellers to store their luggage temporarily to, for example, visit the city while waiting for the bus connection. Thus, you don’t need to carry your belongings around during your quick visit to the city. Turku Bus Terminal wanted to offer this service to their customers. They wanted a modern, reliable self-storage solution with a smooth user experience that would be operated with payment cards. Our proposal was to their liking and Pusatec was chosen to supply the solution.
We supplied Turku Bus Terminal with a secure, sleek luggage storage solution that is easy to use. In our solution, the user locks their locker with a payment card. Later on, the same payment card can be used to open the locker and pay the fee. This means, there’s no need for touch-screen interactions. Accessibility was kept in mind elsewhere too with the solution: the payment terminal is placed adequately low and the numbers on the lockers were embossed. Management and monitoring the usage are handled efficiently in our centralized management platform, Pusatec Portal.
